Insurance & Cash Price Options

Insurance/Payment Options Our Podiatrist Office Offers

Our podiatrist office understands that nowadays many people who have heel, foot or ankle pain or problems are concerned about medical costs and as a result we take more insurance and offer cash prices for patients who do not have insurance.

Whether you have the best medical insurance, no insurance or something in-between, you will find that our insurance/billing staff is very approachable and understanding of your financial needs. (Incidentally, you can read patient reviews by clicking here).

We accept payments plans and we accept cash payments. A payment plan is a good option if your insurance has a high deductible or if you need foot care and have no insurance. For some people, they wish to just pay cash rather than use their insurance due to having a high deductible.

Our podiatry office’s insurance staff will be happy to meet with you personally to help answer any questions you may have, help solve an insurance or financial issue for you, or simply arrange an affordable payment plan for you.

Our podiatrist Northwest Indiana office takes most all health insurance plans and is in nearly every insurance network and group, including accepting Workers Compensation insurance (Workman’s Compensation), Blue Cross Blue Shield BC/BS, Anthem, United Health Care, Aetna, Humana, Tricare, UHR, Cigna, MagnaCare, Ambetter (and Ambetter/MHS), CareSource (and CareSource Marketplace), Highmark, Anthem and Medicare and more. If you do not see your insurance plan listed here, please call us and talk to Barb or Karin in the insurance department – they will help you.

Payment Plan for Podiatry Treatment, Foot Orthotics or Foot Surgery

Whether you have insurance or not, in most circumstances we offer the option of paying a low-cost, reduced cash price for your podiatry care, foot surgery or foot orthotics. Or you can pay over a period of time with an affordable cash payment plan (installment payments). Nearly all patients who require an affordable, reduced cash fee for services or surgery, or a cash payment plan are accommodated—we work with you to help you obtain the foot or ankle treatment, foot orthotics or surgery you need!

If you are considering paying cash for foot or ankle surgery (including a bunion, hammertoe or tendon repair or something else), we may be able to help arrange a lower fee or reduced cost for your surgery to be done at an out-patient surgery center in Northwest Indiana. By working with a local, accredited surgery center, instead of a hospital, we often can help keep costs down for you.

Talk to us about your foot or ankle surgery and you may be surprised just how inexpensive and low-cost your podiatry care or surgery will be. We believe high quality podiatry care, including custom-made foot orthotics or foot surgery, can be inexpensive or low-cost when you choose to not use insurance or do not have insurance and instead, you choose to pay directly for your care with cash or check.

If you are considering paying cash instead using insurance, please be sure to discuss the cash options with our insurance staff, and they will do their best to arrange an inexpensive, low-cost payment plan — we work with you!
